About Our Organization

Mason County Detention Center was built in 1992. The building was dedicated on February 17, 1991 and the first Jailer was Mr. Roger Case.  The County Judge at that time was Billy Ross and the County Commissioners were Marty Wallingford, James Gallenstein and Rick Huber.

Former Jailer Lloyd Berry and former Commissioners Brian Ashley, Marie Condon, Kirk Clarke and Joe Condon were instrumental in planning for construction for the facility.
